Ryan Biery, an industrial designer in Chicago came up with the versatile smart power strip called Switchboard. As shown in the images, the concept power strip shows off a minimal and elegant appearance design defined the solid white exterior and round detailing. With a slim form factor, the Switchboard fits anywhere in your house, and the eyelets on the bottom allow for wall mounting.
Using built-in WiFi connectivity, the smart power strip allows you to separately control the four AC outlets with your smartphone wherever you’re, and the color of each LED ring corresponds to the labeled device in the app.
Moreover, the outlets are rotatable to reduce cable stress, and the simple on/off switch lets you easily control the power strip. After the break, check out the images about the design concept.
